HPG Axis Maintenance During TRT
Exogenous testosterone suppresses LH and FSH to near-zero, causing testicular atrophy and infertility. Gonadorelin maintains pulsatile GnRH stimulation of the pituitary, preserving LH/FSH secretion and testicular function. This allows men on TRT to maintain sperm production and testicular volume.
