CJC-1295 Dosage Protocols
CJC-1295 exists in two distinct forms with very different dosing protocols:
| Form | Dose | Frequency | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| CJC-1295 with DAC | 1–2 mg | Once weekly | Any time (long half-life) |
| CJC-1295 no DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) | 100–200 mcg | 2–3× daily | Fasted — bedtime primary, post-exercise optional |
The non-DAC form is more commonly used in research because it preserves the body's natural pulsatile GH release pattern. It is almost always paired with a GHRP (growth hormone releasing peptide) such as ipamorelin for synergistic GH release.
CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin stack: 100 mcg CJC-1295 no DAC + 200 mcg ipamorelin, administered together subcutaneously 2–3× daily (before bed and optionally post-exercise).
Reconstitution & Preparation
CJC-1295 typically comes in 2mg or 5mg lyophilized vials:
- 2mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 1mg/mL (1,000 mcg/mL) — draw 0.1mL for 100 mcg (Mod GRF dosing)
- 5mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 2.5mg/mL — draw 0.4mL for 1mg (DAC dosing)
Use the peptide calculator for precise volumes. See the reconstitution guide for preparation.
Timing & Cycle Length
Timing is critical for CJC-1295, especially the non-DAC form:
- Fasting required: Administer at least 2 hours after eating. Food (especially carbohydrates) blunts the GH release response
- Bedtime dose: The most important dose, as it amplifies the natural nocturnal GH pulse
- Post-exercise dose: Optional second dose to capitalize on exercise-induced GH release
- Morning dose: Optional third dose upon waking (still fasted)
- Cycle length: 8–12 weeks, with some protocols running up to 16 weeks
- Off period: 4–8 weeks between cycles is commonly used to prevent GH receptor desensitization
Storage
Standard peptide storage:
- Lyophilized: -20°C long-term, 2–8°C for months
- Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2–8°C, use within 28 days
- CJC-1295 is relatively stable in reconstituted form
See the peptide storage guide for complete guidelines.
