Administration Details

Intranasal

Intranasal delivery provides rapid absorption through the nasal mucosa and potentially enhanced brain delivery via the olfactory pathway. Clear nasal passages before administration. Tilt head slightly forward, insert dropper, and inhale gently.

Subcutaneous

Standard subcutaneous injection technique applies. Reconstitute lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water. Use the peptide calculator for reconstitution volumes. See the injection guide for technique.

Cycle Length & Timing

The approved Russian protocol recommends 10–14 day treatment courses with rest periods between courses. Research protocols have studied continuous use for up to 30 days.

  • Standard course: 10–14 days
  • Extended course: Up to 30 days in some research protocols
  • Rest period: 1–2 weeks between courses (per Russian clinical guidelines)
  • Timing: Morning and afternoon dosing preferred; avoid evening administration if stimulating effects are noticed

Unlike benzodiazepines, Selank does not develop tolerance with repeated use, and no withdrawal symptoms have been reported after discontinuation.
