Dosage Protocols

Maximum frequency: once per 24 hours, no more than 8 doses per month. The FDA-approved formulation (Vyleesi) is a single-dose pre-filled auto-injector for subcutaneous injection in the abdomen or thigh.
Reconstitution
Vyleesi auto-injectors require no preparation. For research-grade PT-141 vials, reconstitute lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water. Use the peptide calculator for volumes. See the reconstitution guide for technique.
Timing
Administer at least 45 minutes before anticipated sexual activity. Effects typically last 6–12 hours. Do not use more than once in 24 hours. The FDA labeling recommends no more than 8 doses per month to limit hyperpigmentation risk.

- Vyleesi auto-injectors: Room temperature (20–25°C)
- Research vials (lyophilized): 2–8°C or -20°C
- Reconstituted: 2–8°C, use within 28 days
